Privacy Policy

We're straight-up serious about protecting your information

Last Updated: November 6, 2025

Look, we get it - nobody really wants to read through pages of legal jargon. But here's the deal: when you trust us with your prized BMW or Porsche, we wanna make sure you also know how we handle your personal info. We've tried to keep this as straightforward as possible, just like we'd explain what's wrong with your transmission over a coffee.

For showing you relevant stuff - your call on this one

When you book an appointment or get in touch with us, we're gonna need some basics:

  • Contact stuff: Your name, phone number, email - y'know, so we can actually reach you when your car's ready
  • Vehicle details: Make, model, year, VIN - can't fix what we don't know about
  • Service history: What we've worked on before, parts we've replaced, that kinda thing
  • Payment info: Credit card details when you pay (but we don't store the full numbers - that's handled by our secure payment processor)
  • Website activity: Pages you visit, how long you hang around - helps us figure out what info people are actually looking for

We're not out here collecting weird stuff we don't need. Just the basics to do our job right.

Pretty straightforward, really. We use what you give us to:

  • Schedule your appointments and send reminders (nobody likes missing their service window)
  • Keep track of your vehicle's service history - super useful for diagnosing recurring issues
  • Send you quotes and invoices
  • Let you know about recalls or important maintenance your specific vehicle might need
  • Improve our services based on feedback and common issues we're seeing
  • Send occasional emails about seasonal maintenance tips (you can opt out anytime - we won't be offended)

We're not selling your info to random third parties or spamming you with junk. That's not how we roll.

Security's a big deal to us. We've got several layers in place:

  • SSL encryption: All data sent through our website is encrypted - same tech banks use
  • Secure servers: Your info's stored on protected servers with regular security updates
  • Limited access: Only our staff who actually need your info to do their jobs can access it
  • PCI compliance: Payment processing meets all the industry standards
  • Regular backups: We keep secure backups just in case something goes sideways

Look, nothing's 100% foolproof in the digital world, but we're doing everything reasonable to keep your stuff safe. If there's ever a breach (knock on wood), we'll let you know right away.

We're not in the business of selling your data. Period. But there are a few situations where we might need to share it:

  • Parts suppliers: Sometimes we need to give them your vehicle details to order the right parts
  • Payment processors: They handle the credit card transactions securely
  • Email service providers: For sending you appointment confirmations and service updates
  • Warranty companies: If you've got extended warranty coverage, we might need to share repair details with them
  • Legal requirements: If the law says we gotta hand something over, we will (but we'll fight it if it seems sketchy)

Everyone we work with is required to keep your info confidential. We make sure of that.

You're in control of your personal info. Here's what you can do:

  • Access: Wanna see what info we've got on you? Just ask - we'll send it over
  • Corrections: If something's wrong or outdated, let us know and we'll fix it
  • Deletion: Want us to delete your data? We can do that (though we gotta keep some stuff for tax and legal reasons)
  • Opt-out: Don't want marketing emails? Click unsubscribe or tell us - no hard feelings
  • Data portability: Need your service records in a specific format? We'll work with you on that

Under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA), you've got the right to file a complaint with the Privacy Commissioner if you think we've mishandled your info. But honestly, just talk to us first - we'd rather sort it out directly.

We don't hang onto your info forever. Here's the breakdown:

  • Service records: We keep these for 7 years - it's helpful for tracking patterns and also required for warranty and legal purposes
  • Invoices & payments: 7 years for tax compliance (CRA rules, not ours)
  • Contact info: As long as you're an active customer, plus a couple years after your last visit
  • Website analytics: Usually aggregated and anonymized after 26 months
  • Marketing lists: We clean these up regularly - if you haven't engaged in 3 years, you're off the list

Once we don't need it anymore, we securely delete or anonymize it. Simple as that.

Sometimes we'll link to manufacturer websites, parts suppliers, or other resources. Once you click those links, you're on their turf - their privacy policies apply, not ours.

We try to only link to reputable sites, but we can't control what they do with your data. So just keep that in mind when you're clicking around.

Same goes for social media - if you interact with us on Facebook or Instagram, those platforms have their own data practices.

Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect info from anyone under 18. If you're a parent and think your kid's given us their info, let us know and we'll delete it right away.

That said, if you're under 18 and somehow ended up with a European performance car... well, that's impressive, but you still need a parent or guardian to handle the service appointments.

We might update this policy from time to time - new laws, new tech, new services, whatever. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top.

If we make any major changes that affect how we use your data, we'll shoot you an email or post a notice on the site. We won't pull any sneaky moves.

It's worth checking back here once in a while, especially if you're the type who actually reads this stuff (respect).

Questions About Privacy?

Look, if you've got concerns or questions about how we handle your data, just reach out. We'd rather have a conversation than have you worrying about it.
